Market-Linked Products for 2018

Announces Launch of New Distribution Channel to Serve More
Financial Advisors as Demand Grows


BOCA RATON, FL – January 31, 2018 - Incapital LLC, a leading underwriter and distributor of securities, announced today that it achieved a record $5.5 billion in sales of Market-Linked Products in 2018.

 

Market-Linked Products are risk-managed investments whose performance is linked to the performance of other instruments such as equity market indices. They are designed to provide defined outcomes that help investors meet their specific growth, income, and/or capital preservation objectives. 

 

Incapital attributes 2018’s record results to several factors, including greater education on Market-Linked Products among financial advisors across all channels; increasing investor demand for principal-protected solutions as uncertainty returned to the equity markets; and Incapital’s industry-leading approach to first-class wholesaling.

 

New Advisor Direct Sales Group

 

In addition, Incapital announced the formation of a new Market-Linked Products distribution channel to complement the firm’s dedicated 50+ nationwide wholesale team and serve a broader segment of the financial advisor community.

 

Incapital’s new Advisor Direct Sales Group will offer greater access to the firm’s Market-Linked Product offerings, investment professionals and educational platform to financial advisors at hundreds of broker/dealer firms not serviced by Incapital’s wholesale team.

 

The new Advisor Direct Sales Group will be based out of Incapital’s Boca Raton, FL office and run by Deryk Rhodes, Managing Director and Head of Market-Linked Products Trading & Origination. Joining Mr. Rhodes will be Senior Vice President Laurie Cole, who will oversee relationship management, and Assistant Vice President Michelle Warner, who will manage the new direct-to-advisor, proactive outreach team. Like the existing wholesale team, the new distribution team will fall under the executive leadership of Hugh McHaffie, Managing Director and Head of Incapital’s Wealth Management Solutions Division.
