Incapital To Present Decorated War Hero with Donation for Boca Raton Championship Golf Charities

Incapital LLC, a leading underwriter and distributor of fixed income and other financial products, today announced their sponsorship for the Allianz Championship, the first full-field PGA Champions Tour event of the season, to be held February 3-9, 2014, at The Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Florida. On Friday, February 7, Incapital will honor Captain Ben Harrow, a decorated Afghanistan war hero, with a $5000 check for the Boca Raton Championship Golf Charities during the Opening Tee Shot.

“We are honored to be the presenting sponsor of the Opening Tee Shot at the 2014 Allianz Championship with Captain Harrow, a decorated war hero who was awarded three Bronze Stars and Purple Heart for his service in Afghanistan,” said John Radtke, Chief Executive Officer at Incapital. “Captain Harrow’s service is an inspiration to all of us. At Incapital we are dedicated to working with a variety of different organizations in the community and beyond to support our troops at home and abroad.”   

In addition to honoring Captain Harrow, Incapital’s sponsorship of the Allianz Championship also benefits the Boca Raton Champions Golf Charities which supports the Boca Raton Regional Hospital and many other South Florida charities.

Tournament play will include 2013 defending champion Rocco Mediate, 2012 champion Corey Pavin, 2011 champion Tom Lehman (2011 and 2012 Charles Schwab Cup season-long point’s race winner), 2010 champion Bernhard Langer, Mark Calcavecchia, and Fuzzy Zoeller. 

The 2013 Allianz Championship tournament delivered $15 million in economic impact to the community, drew 69,000 spectators, was viewed by 4.9 million people with all three championship rounds televised live by the Golf Channel, and raised $300,000 for the Boca Raton Champions Golf Charities.
