Incapital Supports Gallaudet University Baseball Golf Classic

Incapital announced plans today to support the Gallaudet University baseball program as title sponsor for the Second Annual Gallaudet University Baseball Golf Classic to be held Monday, October 17, at the Norbeck Country Club in Olney, Md.

Gallaudet University is the world’s only liberal arts college specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard of hearing students. Located on Capitol Hill, the university was founded in 1864 by an Act of Congress and its charter was signed by President Abraham Lincoln.

The Gallaudet University baseball team is led by Coach Curtis Pride, the only deaf athlete to play Major League Baseball in the modern era.

“Coach Curtis Pride and the Gallaudet baseball team inspire us all,” said Incapital Chief Executive Officer John Radtke. “We are very proud to support the courage, discipline and determination embodied in the entire Bison team.”

“I was really encouraged and excited by the outpouring of support and interest we had in the tournament last year,” said Coach Pride. “We welcome Incapital’s involvement as title sponsor and very much appreciatetheir support in moving us closer to our goal of doubling the level of funds we raise this year to support the Gallaudet baseball program.”
